Duties and Responsibilities

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Self-motivation and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with consumers and co-workers
  • Ability to assess the needs and strengths of individuals with disabilities
  • Ability to work within a team atmosphere in order to communicate to all team members the needs of clients
  • Ability to function independently in a facility based setting in order to effectively administer programming to clients
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively
