Recreational and Community Outings

What are the recreational and community outing opportunities?
  • MTILP offers a number of large and small group activities throughout the year to encourage the health and community awareness.
  • In these classes, clients participate in activities such as: gardening, golf kick ball, bocce, kite flying and a number of other outdoor activities.
  • They take trips to stores, use city bike paths and lakes, go to the Arboretum and botanical gardens, visit city libraries and rural farms and many other interesting landmarks throughout the city and Dane County.
  • This helps the clients become more aware of the great services and attractions that are offered in the Madison area. This also teaches them more about independence in the community, a vital part of the philosophy of MTILP, Inc.
